The Elizabeth Dole Foundation has teamed up with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Philips to provide veterans, caregivers, and military families with information about high priority topics surrounding the COVID-19 epidemic, health, and wellbeing.

Calling all veterans and caregivers: Leaders from the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and Philips invite you to join a virtual seminar on August 19th at 1PM EST focused on heart health solutions.

Conditions that affect the heart and blood vessels, referred to as cardiovascular disease, are the leading cause of hospitalizations in the VA health care system and hospital systems across the U.S. Thanks to advancements in research and technology, health care providers are better able to prevent, diagnose, and treat cardiovascular disease.

Special Guests: Dr. Claire Sullivan, Director of Preventive Cardiology, University Hospitals, Cleveland Medical Center; and Dr. Wayne Derkac, Senior Vice President, Medical Affairs at Philips.
