Veterans Yoga Project (VYP) is on a mission to support recovery and resilience among our veterans, families, and communities. Through VYP’s Mindful Resilience program practices, VYP provides self-regulation skills and techniques to veterans and military caregivers. These practices, consisting of the five tools of Breathing, Meditation, Mindful Movement, Guided Rest, and Gratitude, are adapted and delivered to maximize their ability to undo the nervous system dysfunctions that underlie symptoms of stress-related conditions. They are offered free of charge through a network of over a hundred classes across the country, healing retreats for veterans and military caregivers, and an online Practice Library. Specifically, the VYP Practice Library features a module and training dedicated to addressing Compassion Fatigue and other challenges and needs faced by military caregivers.
