LEEK Hunting and Mountain Preserve provides wounded and injured veterans a comfortable, family-friendly, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant venue from which to enjoy outdoor recreation.
Outdoor recreational activities are widely recognized as beneficial in the recovery process. LEEK’s events are designed to introduce, or re-introduce, wounded and injured veterans to the outdoors via hunting and fishing, regardless of their current physical status. Further, family involvement is also widely acknowledged as a critical element in successful recovery from serious injury.
