The Comfort Crew for Military Kids has created a comprehensive set of resources for school age children that address specific challenges associated with growing up in a military family.
These resources are housed in Comfort Kits and delivered all around the world at no cost to military families. The Taking Care of You! Support for Kids of Injured Heroes Kit contains items for children such as a journal, access to an animated movie and other online materials available on their Comfort Crew Academy, and a comfort item. It also includes a family guidebook for parents.
Comfort Crew for Military Kids visits children in schools on and off bases all over the world on the With You All the Way! Tour. The presentation has addressed over 500,000 military kids the past decade about several topics including visible and invisible injuries.
Comfort Crew recently launched the Comfort Crew Academy and accompanying app. This new virtual platform is free for military families and enhances and expands on the components in the Comfort Kits for kids ages 6-12. Additional offerings such as courses, videos, learning modules, activities, checkpoints, tips, tools, and rewards expand on the already proven resources found in the Comfort Kits.
