Often children of military families are involved in the caregiving of a family member. The family member might be the non-military mom who now has MS or the grandma who has moved in to help and has a stroke. The kids may struggle academically, physically and/or personally. Frequently kids don’t talk to others about what they are going through. They also may not confide with family to protect them and not be a burden. AACY works with children to let them know they are not alone in their journey and supports them. Our 1-800 number is available 24/7. Services are needs driven and prioritized.
