The Elizabeth Dole Foundation offers our sincere congratulations to President of the United States Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
President Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden were among the first national leaders to join our Foundation’s mission to empower, support, and honor military caregivers. Vice President Harris has also recognized the profound service of our hidden heroes as she demonstrated when she directly reached out to caregivers the day after the election to learn about their experiences and challenges. Our Foundation is grateful that the Biden administration has already made the military and veteran community among its highest priorities, and we stand ready to offer our resolute support to ensure veterans, their families and caregivers receive the resources they need and deserve.
Since the earliest days of the Foundation, we have had the opportunity to work with national leaders and Americans of every walk of life to champion this bipartisan cause. As our country moves forward, we will work to unite our nation around the common cause of caring for the hidden heroes who strengthen our democracy through their extraordinary sacrifice and service.
